How it Works (SRS)

BizVoc uses a Spaced Repetition System (SRS). Cards you know well appear less often, while new or difficult cards appear more frequently, helping you learn efficiently.

• Correct answers increase the review interval (days until next seen).
• Incorrect answers reset the interval, bringing the card back sooner.
• Sessions prioritize cards that are due for review.

Using the Flashcards

• Read the term/phrase on the front.
• Think of the translation or meaning.
• Tap the card to flip it and see the answer & example sentence.
• Click Correct or Incorrect based on your self-assessment.
• Use the icon (when available) for pronunciation (Demo only).

Options

• Name: Personalize greetings in the app.
• Language Pair: Choose source/target languages (e.g., DE→EN). Toggle direction with the header button .
• Max Cards: Set the maximum cards per session.
• Confetti: Toggle the celebration animation.
• Categories: Select specific topics to focus on.

Other Icons

• Help: Shows this information panel.
• View All: Browse vocabulary and see language-specific progress.
• Stats: View overall progress (based on SRS levels), your current streak, and earned badges.
• Streak: Consecutive days with completed cards.
